The Ability People founded for Building a better understanding on “Awareness, Prevention and Rehabilitation (APR)” on 3R’s (Road Safety, Right to Emergency Care & Rehabilitation actively for accident victims). An independent body to create a measurable and sustainable impact in the lives of Spinal Cord Injured Persons (SCIP’s) in India.

The New Global Indian (NGI) is a platform for information sharing and networking using various media and events across the globe. New Delhi based NGI Media Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture by various partners in Mumbai, Boston and Dubai. NGI plans to expand its activities in countries that are home to Indians and friends.

We were first established in 1981 as the British Council of Disabled People, to be the umbrella body for disabled people’s organisations across the United Kingdom. We believe in, and strive for, the full inclusion of disabled people in society and the workplace. For us, inclusion is a human rights and civil liberties issue that must be effectively tackled. By working in partnership with disabled people’s organisations, the government and other bodies, we believe that equality can be achieved.

Institute Of Directors was established on 12 July 1990 in India, as an apex association of Directors to improve their professional competence. It was soon obvious, that it had a far wider remit. From the personal development of Directors, it soon embraced boardroom development as a whole, and then organization-wide transformation. IOD India since has grown to associate with more than 30,000 senior executives representing prominent organisations from both the Private & Public and Govt worldwide.


v-shesh is an impact enterprise that prepares students and job-seekers for suitable opportunities. v-shesh’s purpose is to create social impact by bridging the opportunity divide for those who are disadvantaged due to factors beyond their control like disability or socio-economic status. Led by the belief that getting first job is the most difficult for this group, but at the same time the first job has the maximum impact whether on job seekers, their family or society at large, v-shesh focuses it effort on connecting disadvantaged job seekers to their first jobs.

Trinayani is a NGO working with a mission to HONOUR, INCLUDE and EMPOWER persons with disabilities. Our core objective is to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities, but the process actually involves grabbing attention and soliciting a change within minds of regular or non disabled persons. While our chief motive remains awareness – and there are many battles against attitudinal barriers pending to be waged, we have evolved into a multi-pronged outfit. Awareness workshops for students and Corporates, radio shows, sensitization sessions for public and private sector employees, documentaries and music releases are only some of our activities.

Ektha is a rights based voluntary organization of self-advocates with disabilities, who have got together to stand up for the rights of the persons with disabilities.
Their objective is to promote the well being and interests of persons with disabilities. Focus is laid on inclusive education, training skills for employment, legislation, independent living and accessible transportation for persons with disabilities.

Vidya Sagar is a voluntary organization that works with children and young adults with cerebral palsy and other neurological disabilities, their families and the communities they live in. Vidya Sagar focuses on early intervention, special education, physiotherapy, speech and communication therapy, vision training, occupational therapy, co-curricular activities, counseling, vocational training, legal rights, exploring and creating employment opportunities and training of resource persons to work in the field of disability.

Polio Children was founded in 2003 with the primary mission of providing nutritional, educational, health, and vocational support to children, especially those from poor families, afflicted with polio and other neuro-degenerative diseases.Registered charities in the U.K and the U.S.A., Polio Children has collected over a million pounds and provided assistance to more than 1000 children in India, Tanzania, and England over the past 10years.
