Disability Sports Workshop

and on 18th Dec 2013 in Chennai, India.

Venue: Basketball Court, Police Stadium, Police Barracks Junction, Visakhapatnam, India, 530020.

This workshop will involve demonstrations, training, and taster sessions for disabled people in the following sports:

  • Wheelchair Basketball
  • Boccia
  • Table Tennis
  • Wheelchair Rugby

These workshops, led by experienced disabled sportspersons from the UK and India, will enable disabled people to experience the sports with a view of developing and establishing regular meets. Through working with partners such as Ability People, Indian Paralympic Committee and other agencies, Choice International will play a vital role in developing a long term strategy designed to ensure that India is able to increase its profile at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic games.
